The Camp
We would like to invite you to the 7th traditional Tara Rokpa Winter Camp ☃️ in Tunturikeimiö, Lapland on February 15-19, 2023, in person or online.
Working with the Elements has been the main focus of the winter camps since the first camp in 2016. That way it will be also this year. With the therapists Jayne Pilossof from Zimbabwe, Stephan Storm from Germany, and Tuula Styrman from Finland. We will have a special focus on experiences, elements, and environment. The daily schedule includes Tara Rokpa practices, nature time, sauna, snow and relaxing. We will open the zoom connection twice a day, for a morning session and for an element practice in the afternoon/lecture in the evening.

Lodging and Travel
Everyone pays their own travel and lodging fees.
Lodging in Tunturikeimiö includes accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, pancake party, daily sauna and swimming in an icy pond, linen.

Getting there
From Helsinki, you can take a train to Kolari or fly to Kittilä airport (https://www.finavia.fi/en/airports/kittila) . From Kittila or Kolari, take a bus or taxi to Tunturikeimiö (https://ywca.fi/tunturikeimio/in-english/) .

You are welcome to join all the camp sessions or some of them. ❤️

Please notice that all times on the program are Finnish times (GMT+2:00 Helsinki)
All the sessions are in English with translation in Finnish, when needed.

How to register
We are offering the winter camp on suggested donation, pay what you can basis. The registration fee will cover the therapist’s fees and expenses.
